Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As a Subway® Sandwich Artist™, you will play an essential role in delivering great food and excellent customer service. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Food Preparation & Hygiene:
Prepare food items to Subway® standards, including baking bread and cookies
Maintain food storage and preparation areas in line with Health & Safety and Audit requirements
Follow all hygiene regulations and comply with the Food Code of Practice

Customer Service & Sales:
Operate the till and handle customer transactions efficiently
Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to customer needs in a friendly, professional manner
Uphold the Subway® brand by maintaining high personal presentation in uniform

Store Operations:
Monitor stock levels and assist with checking in deliveries
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and customers
Work collaboratively as part of a team to support daily operations

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.  What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
